Your specific notice period is stated in your lease agreement. Notice periods for parking and garage contracts are regulated in their respective agreements.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"faq-item border-b border-sand\/30 pb-6\"><button class=\"faq-question w-full text-left\" onclick=\"toggleFaq(2606)\"><h3 class=\"text-xl font-woodland text-green mb-4 flex items-center justify-between\">What general fire safety rules apply in the buildings?<svg class=\"w-5 h-5 transform transition-transform faq-arrow\" id=\"arrow-2606\" fill=\"currentColor\" viewBox=\"0 0 20 20\"><path fill-rule=\"evenodd\" d=\"M5.293 7.293a1 1 0 011.414 0L10 10.586l3.293-3.293a1 1 0 111.414 1.414l-4 4a1 1 0 01-1.414 0l-4-4a1 1 0 010-1.414z\" clip-rule=\"evenodd\"\/><\/svg><\/h3><\/button><div class=\"faq-answer hidden prose prose-lg max-w-none\" id=\"answer-2606\"><p>Stairwells<br \/>\nStrollers, walkers, etc. must not be stored in stairwells. They should be kept in designated stroller\/bike rooms or in your apartment. Strollers often contain chemicals that, in the event of a fire, produce heavy smoke and toxic gases and may obstruct evacuation.<\/p>\n<p>Hallways in basements and\/or attics are evacuation routes and must not be blocked or cluttered. Recyclables and bulky waste such as cardboard boxes, furniture, etc., must not be left in common areas but taken to recycling or designated disposal points.<\/p>\n<p>Apartments<br \/>\nSmoking is not allowed in apartments or any indoor areas of the building.<br \/>\nOpen flames are strictly prohibited on balconies and in common areas.<br \/>\nFlammable materials (e.g., gas or gasoline) must not be stored in the apartment, on the balcony, or in attic\/basement storage.<br \/>\nSmoke detectors must be installed in every apartment. The tenant is responsible for checking them and replacing batteries. If the detector doesn\u2019t work, contact maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Other areas<br \/>\nBicycles may only be parked in bike racks outside the building or in the bike room. Bikes can block evacuation routes.<br \/>\nDoors to and from common areas must not be left open or blocked.<br \/>\nIn garages, only vehicle parking is allowed. If you find the smoke bothersome, speak with your neighbor. If that doesn't help, contact your landlord. If a neighbor complains about smoke, the landlord will assess the situation. If that doesn\u2019t help, contact your landlord.<\/p>\n<p>If the disturbance occurs late at night, call the disturbance hotline at 0243-225050, option 3. You can remain anonymous. The hotline will locate the source of the noise and visit the person responsible.
